seasons greetings

We hope all of you had a blessed Christmas.

Our day started early, with church.  It was at 8:00 and we have a 50 min. drive to get there.  Our sermon was very good: Paul talked about how different the birth of Christ was than our beautiful nativity
sets portray.  God came to us in the midst of chaos and that is still true today.  Keep that in mind when your life seems out-of-control: our God meets us where we are.  I find that especially comforting.

Then a quick stop-in at the Spar (grocery) and home to get ready for guests. There were 18 of us for dinner.  Once again the same, we are celebrating the birth of  Christ, but different, we had a bri (cook out that is the tradition here).  The weather wasvery nice around 80 with an ocean breeze.   Who could ask for anything more?!
