The ladies that work at Sunbury only work 3 days a week 6 1/2 hours a day, when there are no camps. We had no camp last weekend, with that said let me tell you what these ladies accomplished.
They washed and ironed all the draperies in the camp. There are 35 dome rooms each with a set of drapes and 12 windows in the conference hall. So, 42 sets of drapes. Of course you wouldn’t put clean drapes on dirty windows, so all the windows were washed as well. They also washed all the duvet liners, that is about 200 pieces (only three fit in the washer at a time!) and everything is line dried.
Now, we do have a camp this weekend so all the dorm rooms had to be cleaned and beds ready for tonight. They left at 2 today and will be back at 6 Am. Yes 6 AM.
I did help some but not too much you see. Laurel and I were relining some of the draperies. Well really only 10 sets were relined. But we did have to take the old lining out too.
So, as I said a busy two weeks.
